Getting top marks in high school or at university and building a brilliant career are sometimes not enough to present yourself to companies operating on international level or if you need to relocate abroad for work or study.
In most European countries and in the USA, having an internationally recognised language certificate offers students priority access to the best universities and workers the possibility of improving their career prospects.
Every year, millions of people take language certificates exams of various type according to their objectives. We can follow you step-by-step to prepare you so that you can aspire to top results for yourself and your future.
Languages at Work offers effective preparation for international certificate examinations in the major European languages. The certifications in the highest demand are those of Cambridge University for ENGLISH, in particular:
KET (Key English Test) PET (Preliminary English Test) FCE (First Certificate in English) CAE (Certificate in Advanced English)
PET FOR SCHOOLS, FIRST FOR SCHOOLS
BEC (Business English Certificate)
IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
According to their type, our courses are aimed at employees, professionals, individuals, high school students or university students.
They are recognised worldwide as proof that a certain language level has been reached. They enrich the CV of an employee, professional or student aspiring to showcase their skills. We cover a wide range of levels and topics and allow a wide choice perfectly in harmony with individual needs.
While KET, PET, FCE and CAE certify a knowledge of General English, BEC focuses on business topics and may be particularly suited for people working in international companies.
PET for SCHOOLS and FIRST for SCHOOLS are offered by many high schools to complement the basic curriculum. Students who pass the examination will receive an official confirmation of their skills, which is recognised by the university they will contribute to their language credits.
A certain mark in the Academic version of IELTS is required by many major Italian universities to join international programmes and is recognised as a learning credit. It also opens the way to universities abroad for students wanting to study in another country.
Our teachers are specifically trained in the preparation of international certificates and certified by Cambridge University themselves (they are CELTA and DELTA certified). We are aware that a gradual exposure to the exam paper format, with specific tests during the entire programme, is essential for effective preparation. During the courses, particular focus is dedicated to communication, this being a key element in tests of this type.
Languages at Work guarantees small groups (no more than eight students) to optimise the participant's time and effort. The course time, in particular for IELTS, can be personalised according to particular needs and the initial language level.
All participants are given a written and oral entry test, which is free of charge and with no strings attached, to ensure the groups are uniform.
Lessons are held from Monday to Saturday, at times to be agreed, including lunch breaks.
